My lovely trip has started off on a passionate and fabulous foot. Wisconsin may be ridiculously cold, negative 12 to be exact, but I am having a blast. Everyone here is so welcoming and nice. Lots of good convos and beverage sharing has occurred only making it all that much better. Tonight's festivities began with some local Wisconsin wine and cheese. Now we all know my obsession with great food and even greater company so needless to say I am one happy girl. The wine and cheese were to die for. Like nothing I have ever enjoyed. The wine was a raspberry tart and the cheese was aged and soaked in merlot. You may think it sounds a bit off putting, but don't you dare knock it til you try it. It was spectacular and will knock your little socks off. And now, oddly enough, we are waiting on our Thai take out. I was overjoyed when we decided to order from Taste Of Thai because that is the same name of the place me and my darling housemates frequent in Ithaca. Overall it has been a great first full day in America's dairyland. Keep it coming WI, I could get used to this.
