Cheers to another long and jam packed day that began at 6am. Oy. I had some options to go out and actually enjoy myself tonight with real people, but after working all day and having to be in again tomorrow I just couldn't bring myself to rally like I have in the past. Plus all my roommates are gone again so it was a good excuse to be a hermit in the house and go to bed at 10pm. Of course I had to spend time with this wild animal we have been taking care of for the past week. Livvy has gotten a bit crazier in the last few days, but I can't complain because she reminds me so much of my beautiful girl who we all know is lightyears away in NY. I even called this one Moose the other day. It's nice to have that reminder of home, but then again some times it gets to be overwhelming and emotional. I'm not the get homesick type but certain things trigger that little ping in my heart that longs for the comfort and ease that comes with a summer in my hometown. None the less though, there are moments like this when I'm cozy on the couch, finishing a new book, and getting wildly attacked with kisses that make the hard times pass by just a little easier.
